This policy explains how Pulse processes information when you use accounts, workout records, training plans, nutrition logging, physique photos, AI assistance and external AI connections. For privacy questions or requests concerning your information, contact [email protected].
Depending on the features you use, information may include account identifiers, login method, email address, profile and preferences, training goals, height, weight, measurements, plans, exercise performance, workout records and notes.
It may also include meal and nutrition records, meal photos, physique photos and their dates, angles and analyses, reference photos, assistant messages and attachments, proposed changes and confirmation status, subscription entitlements, transaction identifiers and trial status.
Service operation may generate device and app information, feature-use events, technical identifiers, network and error diagnostics, AI request records, usage and estimated costs. Stores or payment platforms process full payment-card information; Pulse primarily receives transaction and entitlement information.
We use information to save and synchronize records, display progress, provide requested analysis and suggestions, process confirmed changes, verify subscriptions, manage external connections, maintain security and improve the product.
You choose whether to provide photos, measurements, notes or other content. You can manage camera, photo-library and notification permissions in device settings. Declining permission may limit the corresponding feature but does not prevent manual logging that does not require it. Saving a photo does not by itself start AI analysis.
Do not upload other people’s photos without permission or provide unnecessary private information. Physique photos, health-related notes and nutrition information may be sensitive.
When you use AI features, relevant text, photos, goals, plans, workout records, exercise notes or previous analyses may be sent through Pulse’s backend to AI providers. A discussion may use recent messages, summaries and tool-query results, rather than only your latest message.
The primary generation provider is currently OpenAI. Knowledge-retrieval workflows may also use Google’s text-embedding service. Providers may process or retain information under their applicable terms, security practices and service-record policies. Pulse does not promise that every provider retains no records or deletes information immediately.
AI can make mistakes. Portion sizes, nutrition values and physique observations are estimates, not medical diagnoses or guarantees of progress. Review proposed changes and confirm them through the relevant feature before applying them.
After you authorize a connection, an external AI may read Pulse information or propose changes within its granted permissions. You can disconnect it from the external AI connections page to stop future access.
Disconnecting does not automatically delete information already received by the external platform. Manage that information through the platform’s own controls. Its accounts, subscription fees, privacy policies and retention rules apply separately and are not included in Pulse Plus.
